Microchipping

Microchip implant

NZCAR registration

Microchipping is an effective and reliable way to ensure that you can quickly and successfully reunite with your pet if they get lost. A microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is implanted between your pet's shoulder blades. It contains a unique identification number that belongs to your pet.

To ensure a speedy and successful reunion in case your pet gets lost, it is important to register this identification number with your contact details on the NZ Companion Animal Register (NZCAR).

Medical grooming

Mat removal

Hygiene clip

Ear cleaning

Grooming is an essential part of pet care. Mats are especially common in long-haired breeds, and if your pet has them, it can be painful, causing skin tension and discomfort. We can clip and brush mats, ensuring your pet’s coat stays smooth and comfortable.

A hygiene clip is a fantastic way to maintain your pet’s clean and tidy appearance if they have a fluffy back end!

If your pet is prone to ear infections, regular ear cleaning may have been recommended by your vet to prevent issues from recurring and ensure that ear medications work more effectively.

Please note that we do not offer complete grooming services.

Cat-friendly home

Cats have unique needs, and understanding these is vital to a harmonious relationship with them. However, with all the information available online, finding the right advice for your cat can be overwhelming. That's where we come in! We're here to help you navigate through the abundance of information and provide you with practical tips and advice to ensure that your cat is living their best life, from kittenhood through to their senior years.

Our consults cover a variety of topics, including nutrition, parasite control, basic behaviour remedies, and more. We can help you optimise your home environment and suggest appropriate cat-friendly living spaces to minimise the common frustrations that cats experience. We also provide guidance on training your cat to become more comfortable with travelling in a carrier, walking on a harness and lead, and deciding whether to keep your cat indoors or outdoors. Additionally, we can also guide you through major life changes, such as moving house and introducing a new pet or baby to your cat.

Our goal is to provide you with the necessary guidance and support to help your cat thrive and live a happy and healthy life.
